 Jim Thompson, MD, FACOG- Medical Director
Dr. Thompson is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who has been subspecialty fellowship trained in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Thompson has been treating families experiencing infertility issues since 1986. He is a past Secretary/Treasurer and currently the Chairman of the New Mexico Section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG).
He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston and completed his residency training in Obstetrics/Gynecology at the University of Kansas-Wichita. He completed a 2-year subspecialty fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Thompson is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology; a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists; and, Subspecialty Fellowship Trained in Reproductive Endocrinology. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology. He currently holds the position of Chairman of the New Mexico Section, District 8, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
