The Center for Reproductive Medicine Medical Director Dr. Jim Thompson, Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist  Dr. Lee Caperton along with Dr. Michael Reed, Embryologist, personally monitor each patient’s treatment from start to finish with support from the CRM clinical and administrative staff. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you never have to feel alone during the process. It’s easy to feel nervous and overwhelmed by the complex nature of fertility treatments, especially with the all of the medical terms that people might be unfamiliar with. Our Track Record Speaks for Itself

In 1988, Dr. Thompson was the first physician in New Mexico to perform a successful in vitro fertilization procedure and GIFT pregnancy. He was also responsible for the first intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) pregnancy. Since that time, the Center for Reproductive Medicine has helped hundreds of couples achieve their dream of conceiving a baby. CRMNM patients have included local doctors and their spouses- along with people from all parts of New Mexico and the Southwest- who have entrusted this most precious decision to Dr. Thompson, Dr. Caperton and their staff.
